On Sunday 20 September, Schouwburg & Concertzaal Tilburg will be transformed into one big place of discovery during the Open Day. There will be plenty to experience on stage and throughout the building for young and old alike. Come and explore, sing along, dance, watch and discover. And the best part? All activities are free of charge! On the terrace of Stadscafé Benee, you can enjoy a performance by De 3de Verdieping.
De 3de Verdieping is an almost entirely acoustic street orchestra that effortlessly switches between creating atmosphere and stealing the spotlight. Playing in the background if needed, but preferably taking centre stage.
With a large collection of carefully selected songs, they move from Taylor Swift to Thelonious Monk, from Kaseko to club hits. Familiar and surprising songs are stripped back to their essence and specially reimagined for this minimalist line-up.
De 3de Verdieping performs on the street, but feels just as much at home at a festival, reception, wedding or birthday celebration. Wherever music brings people together, this unconventional orchestra creates atmosphere, energy and a smile.
