Accessibility

We strive to make attending a concert or performance possible for everyone. That's why we have arranged the Schouwburg & Concertzaal Tilburg to be comfortable and pleasant for people with both visible and invisible disabilities. Below you will find information about the various facilities and possibilities.

Mobility issues and wheelchair spaces

Both the Concert Hall, Theater, and Studio are accessible via a lift. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the balconies in the Theater. If you wish to attend a performance in the Theater, we recommend seating in the auditorium or private boxes. Special wheelchair spaces are available in our halls for wheelchair users. You can reserve tickets for these spots by contacting Ticketservice. Do you have further questions regarding your visit? You can also contact our service team. On the evening of your performance, our staff are always ready to assist you, for example with the lift, or to guide you to the correct location.

Hearing and visual impairments

All halls are equipped with a radio frequency system that you can use with your own headphones. If necessary, headphones and neck loops are also available to borrow for the performance. Some performances also feature surtitles. For visitors with a visual impairment, it is possible to use audio description at some performances. You can read which performances offer this in the program listings.

Language No Problem

In our program listings, various performances are labeled as Language No Problem (LNP). Here, speaking or understanding Dutch is not necessary to grasp the context and content of the performance. View our LNP offerings here.
