This season, Stadscafé Benee once again transforms into an intimate jazz club every month. Drop by and enjoy live jazz, delicious drinks and relaxed vibes.

Do you love jazz? Then you won’t want to miss this. During the free jazz evenings at Benee, it’s all about the complete experience: a warm setting and music that strikes just the right note. No busy performances, but a relaxed atmosphere where jazz has room to breathe.

Jorge Ruiz Jazz Trio - June - The Jorge Ruiz Jazz Trio played a unique mix of Cuban flair and jazz.
Duo Neyunká - July - The South American duo brought an evening full of bossa nova, tango and Latin vibes.
TRICONTINENTALES - Augustus - A multicultural quartet formed in 2021 in Tilburg. The intercontinental band mixed elements of modern and traditional jazz, Latin, funk, rock and pop, resulting in an elegant, dynamic and original style.
Fabio de Almeida - September - Fabio de Almeida (tenor saxophone), Bram Stadhouders (guitar), Youri Traa (drums) and Stef Joosten (bass) played as a quartet a mix of original work and well-known jazz classics – each equally lyrical, daring, spacious and intense.
Jonah Cabral - October - One of the emerging saxophonists in today’s jazz scene. He has performed all over the world, from South Korea to the United States. In 2022, Jonah released his solo album, recorded live in Tilburg. He was joined by a bassist and pianist.
Omar Soliman Trio + Stan van Wetering - November - The quartet presented a varied programme with traditional repertoire, hard bop and bossa nova.
Ann Louise (Janneke Teijen) & Walter Stadhouders - December - A unique duo from Tilburg that combines soul, Latin and jazz in original work and surprising covers.
Iulia Sorlea - Januari - A jazz singer who brings the classic style of the golden jazz era to life.
Tricontinentales - Februari - Blending modern jazz with Latin grooves, funk, rock, and pop, the band delivers an elegant yet dynamic sound.
Afke Flaviana - March - Soft sounds to dream away: Afke Flaviana's Ukulele Jazz sounds like a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning.
Jorge Ruiz Quartet – March – The Cuban-born multi-instrumentalist brings his irresistible blend of bossa nova, straight-ahead jazz, bebop and authentic Cuban trova straight into our living rooms. Joined by Youri Traa on drums, Omar Soliman on piano and Rocco Stilphen on bass.
Mare Meijer & Ema Lucas – April – Mare, from the Netherlands, sings and accompanies herself on classical guitar with an intimate and idiosyncratic style. Ema, from Setúbal, brings a rich, layered timbre to the ensemble with her bass clarinet, clarinet and vocals.
Pedro Miranda Quartet – May – The quartet brings together four distinct musical voices and explores a dynamic repertoire of original compositions and fresh reinterpretations of jazz standards.
Nyala – June – A band from Tilburg that blends alternative, pop and modern jazz influences into a warm, organic sound.
