Time Machine
The school party is in full swing. Suddenly, chaos breaks out: a fight, a scream... and a knife. What has happened? In Time Machine, you find yourself at a high school where time can be paused and rewound. Who has been stabbed and who did it?
As the audience, you sit on opposite stands, with the crime scene in between you. You see flashbacks of students and teachers who are at the school party. Can the perpetrator be tracked down? Time Machine is a sci-fi theater performance about peer pressure with serious consequences.
Director Noël Fischer: “Time Machine deals with the increasing violence among young people. They sometimes feel forced to defend themselves but underestimate the consequences. Such an act can never be undone, even if the victim survives.”
Writer Casper Vandeputte: “The characters in Time Machine have great desires and big secrets. They are completely different, but share one feeling; life is something that can succeed or fail. Life or death. You or me. In such a world, it's no surprise that more and more people feel the need to defend themselves with a deadly weapon.”
Whether this performance has an interval is not yet known.
