Swan Lake, one of the most beloved and frequently performed ballets in the world, tells the moving story of Odette, the Queen of the Swans. She has been enchanted by the evil sorcerer Rothbart and trapped under a magical curse. Only true love can save her and break the spell.

This traditional performance, set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless music, is a visual and emotional masterpiece. The breathtaking choreography, the demanding dual role of Odette/Odile and the dazzling technique make Swan Lake not only the ultimate test for any ballerina, but also an unforgettable experience for the audience.

The Kharkiv City Ballet brings world‑famous classics to Dutch theatres and preserves the rich traditions of classical ballet with dedication. With deep respect for craft and history, they perform these masterpieces in their purest form. This is a unique opportunity to experience this iconic ballet as it has been cherished for generations.
