For decades, Gerard has been on stage and has grown into one of Brabant’s most beloved voices. In Tilburg too, it feels like coming home. An evening without frills, in which everything revolves around the power of a good song and an honest story.

Gerard van Maasakkers (1949) is a singer and lyricist. His personal songs touch generations. He won the Annie M.G. Schmidt Prize twice and celebrated his 75th birthday in 2024 with the anniversary programme In de Gloria.
