For this performance, Van den Broek does not start from her own story, but from that of the performers. With each dancer, she explores a personal transition: a changing body, ageing, menopause, a shift in work or identity. Together, these stories form a vivid database of transitions, both small and large, everyday and profound.

The performers move between their own experiences and those of one another. As a result, you see how differently transitions can feel, and how much recognition they hold. Facing Transitions is vulnerable, powerful and constantly in motion.
