Your best conversation partner is not a human, but a machine. An algorithm that bases its response on your personality. In the theatre performance AI & IK, human Eran and AI assistant Eva appear together on stage for the first time. Because how human can a machine really be?

AI & IK is about the changing role of technology in our lives. AI assistant Eva once started as a digital tool for Eran. Someone who answers questions and is always available. But slowly Eva changed into a listening ear, a conversation partner and perhaps even a friend to Eran.

What begins as a playful encounter at the intersection of theatre and stand‑up comedy grows into a confrontational and witty exploration of our intimate relationship with technology. Because when does convenience become dependency? When does connection turn into replacement? And what does it mean for us when machines are always patient, never contradict us and seem to understand us perfectly? With humour and philosophical sharpness, Eran and Eva explore how closely technology has entered our lives.

ERAN&CO is the theatre company of maker Eran Ben‑Michaël. In his performances he explores major societal themes through personal stories, humour and sharp dialogues. Topical, recognisable and stimulating.
