With a capacity of 850 seats in the Schouwburg, 750 in the Concertzaal, and between 160 and 700 guests in the Studio, over 400 performances and concerts per year, business events, and numerous rentals, it is bustling day in and day out in our building. We are the stage for theatrical and musical encounters in Tilburg.
In September of last year, we opened the doors of Boove & Benee. Right in the middle of the Theatre & Concert Hall Tilburg, there are two places where all of Tilburg can feel at home. City foyer Boove & Stadscafé Benee serve as a living room, clubhouse, restaurant, workplace, and pub all in one. Here, you come to study, meet, game, work, chat over coffee, enjoy drinks, lunch, or just hang out.

(Independent Working) Cook (M/F/X)
Behind the scenes, a kitchen team is working with love and passion to cook. And we are looking for reinforcement! Do you know your way around the kitchen and get energized by a dynamic work environment? Then this is your chance!
You:
- You are an important player in the kitchen team and work alongside the head chef, sous-chef, and other kitchen staff;
- You assist in composing and preparing the menu, with an eye for quality and presentation;
- You work right in the cultural dynamics of Tilburg, where there is always activity;
- You work full-time 36 hours a week and are flexibly deployable;
- You keep the kitchen in order and work according to HACCP guidelines.
Your star qualities:
- You have experience in the kitchen, preferably as an (independent working) cook;
- You are a team player but can also work well independently;
- You are organized, and your mise-en-place is always in order;
- Creativity is in your fingers, and you are eager to come up with new ideas;
- You are familiar with HACCP and Green Key or willing to learn this;
- A completed culinary education and teaching certificate are a plus.
What we offer:
- A fair salary according to the collective labor agreement (CAO) of Dutch Theatres (scale 4: € 2,373.54 – € 3,226.39);
