De Tafel van Martinus is the talk show about current research from Tilburg University. Bring a friend and meet other curious people in the relaxed atmosphere of the Studio Hall.
Scientists join for an interview, give a mini-lecture, or express themselves sharply in a column. This is interspersed with musical talent from the Fontys Academy of Arts and visual commentary from cartoonist Jeroen de Leijer. The presenter is Richard Engelfriet.
The themes and guests of this edition will be announced a few weeks in advance.
De Tafel van Martinus refers to Martinus Cobbenhagen (1893-1954), one of the founders of Tilburg University. Central to his idea of a university is the understanding of and contributing to society.
