Sometimes you find yourself in exactly the wrong place at exactly the right time. Or the other way round. That is what life feels like for Jasper, who just happens to be autistic, although this show is not actually about that. Stoornis of my Life is a hilarious, moving and surprisingly relatable musical comedy about what happens when your perfectly directed life suddenly no longer has a script.

For Jasper, life is one big musical: wonderfully predictable, full of fixed patterns and, most importantly, guaranteed to have a happy ending. Until his mother suddenly dies and his “successful” brother decides to completely rewrite the script. With the best of intentions, of course, but without realising that he is the one who is completely out of tune. Because who gets to decide what “normal” actually is?

Now Jasper must not only save himself, but also free his brother from the limiting belief that you know what is best for someone else.
