How can you make conversations about accessibility needs and requirements approachable and easy to have? During this workshop, you will discover how to gain insight into the support people need and how, as an organisation, you can anticipate and respond to those needs.

You will be introduced to the Access Map, also known as an accessibility map. This practical tool helps you identify your accessibility needs and discuss them with an employer or organisation. In this way, you can create the conditions needed to function at your best, gain insight into what is already in place, and identify where there is still room for improvement.

In addition, we will cover the Access Rider: a simplified version of the Access Map for temporary assignments or collaborations. This allows you to communicate essential accessibility requirements clearly to a (cultural) client, without immediately having to share all personal details. In this way, you lay the foundation for a successful collaboration.
