MAN
Glen Faria takes you into MAN, a raw and personal theatre concert filled with music and inner voices. Live songs and sharp storytelling collide with expectations. Who are you when you are constantly switching between roles? A performance that moves, challenges and stays with you.
Glen is sitting in the studio behind his piano.
He wants to create. Just music, just stories.
He gets stuck.
But he is not alone.
He is interrupted.
By voices he knows.
Versions of himself, all wanting something from him.
The artist who has to deliver.
The partner who has to be present.
The friend who has to remain loyal.
The father who has to set a good example.
The son who has to show respect.
Each role demands something different.
Each situation calls for a different tone.
Different words. Different energy.
Glen switches constantly.
In MAN, Glen Faria enters into conversation with these versions of himself. The men he has to be, or thinks he has to be. Men who speak alongside him, hold him back and steer him.
What remains when you always have to adapt yourself? Who are you in your purest form when all the roles fall away? MAN is a raw and personal theatre concert, directed by Priscilla Vaudelle, in which Glen performs the music from his new album live together with ZO! Gospel Choir, interwoven with stories and scenes that come straight from his inner world.
A direct and relatable performance about living between expectations. And about the question of whether you can ever truly be yourself when you constantly have to switch between roles.
Whether this performance has an interval is not yet known.
