Lunchconcert
Yik Toong is a Malaysian pianist with a broad musical outlook. She combines a strong classical foundation with curiosity for new sounds, shaped during her bachelor’s studies and current master’s at the conservatoire.
Her repertoire ranges from Bach and Mozart to Ravel, Prokofiev, Gershwin and Fazıl Say. Influences from pop, jazz and folk give her playing a fresh and personal colour. Whether she performs in a concert hall, church or small café: Yik brings music that is clear, personal and pleasant to listen to.
