The Soluna Duo unites musicians Mahdokht Mojiri and İrem Yunkuş, two dedicated instrumentalists who discovered in one another a shared pursuit of balance, color, and expressive depth in classical chamber music. Their name, Soluna drawn from sol (sun) and luna (moon) captures the essence of their artistic identity: duality, harmony, and the subtle interplay between light and shadow.

Together, Mahdokht and İrem blend warmth with clarity, refinement with strength. Their programs are shaped by contrast, offering fresh perspectives on well-known works while illuminating lesser-known repertoire with unexpected brilliance. Their playing is intimate and transparent, always guided by a shared narrative voice and a deep commitment to musical storytelling.

With backgrounds spanning different countries and conservatory traditions, the Soluna Duo brings an international outlook to their music-making, grounded in a profound respect for the classical tradition. Their performances are marked by sensitivity, calm presence, and a natural musical dialogue that draws listeners close to the very heart of the music.
