But despite that embrace, it also grates. Johnny puts a magnifying glass on taboos and seeks the boldness to break them. Or maybe just not? Because the tipping point between pushing boundaries and crossing them is almost invisible. And why do we rush to help when someone has a broken leg, but run away just as quickly when that same person says they hear strange voices in their head? 

Goed dat jij bestaat! is a typical evening in Johnny’s style. With humor, sharp opinions, a laugh and a tear, and music from among others Alain Clark and Glenn Faria. Johnny feels an unquenchable urge to make the world a little more beautiful. He takes you along. Because it is good that you exist!
