We kick off with none other than trumpeter and salsa star Maite Hontelé. Born and raised in the Netherlands, Maite grew up in the rich tradition of our wind‑player culture. But soon her heart was captured by the warm sounds of Latin American music. By now, she is a well-established name in the salsa world, beloved throughout South America. 

Together with the Nederlands Blazers Ensemble, Maite takes you on a musical journey, in which the Dutch wind-player culture and Cuban salsa merge. Expect an evening full of limitless energy, where you hear and feel the power of two m musical worlds.
