For this evening, Tilburg’s city composer Nicoline Soeter has written a brand‑new work. You will hear how the voices of the choir and ensemble come together. With pianists Ben Martin Weijand and Ad Broeksteeg, accordion duo TOEAC and percussionists, it promises to be a celebration.

Alongside Daan Manneke’s Grand Motet, in Gerard Beljon’s De Noordewind you hear how different influences slowly grow towards one another. In his Cinq Hymnes, Ton de Leeuw opts for calm and concentration. Ancient texts by the poet Kabir are given a new resonance.

Conductor Louis Buskens knows every voice and lets the choir sing with boldness and joy. You can hear it from the very first note.
